House of Worship

Being a part of a local church is so important. Church is full of prayer, praise, worship, and encouragement. It is a place where your spirit can be uplifted and your faith can be strengthened. In church, God will surround you with His love, joy, peace, hope, and mercy. His awesome anointing is released, when believers come together.

The best place to get to know someone and really understand that person is in their home. Where you are determines what you hear. It's the same way with God. The church is God's house. When you are in His house, you will hear His voice.

The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 (Amplified), "Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together (as believers), as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching." You must be rooted and grounded. You must lay a good foundation on the Word of God. It is very vital that you find a church, where the pastor preaches and teaches the Truth, and get hooked up with that pastor and church.

I encourage you to read Terry Nance's books- God's Armorbearer Vols. 1 & 2 and Vision of the House and visit his web site at www.godsarmorbearer.com. Terry Nance "gives you the keys to stand with your leader to help fulfill God's vision." Also, read John Bevere's book Undercover or go through the Undercover cirriculum. John Bevere "will help you undertake a serious, Holy Spirit-led study of God's authority."

Below, I have mentioned several churches in different areas, that teach the Word of God and have a solid foundation with God. If you are looking for a local church, I encourage you to visit these churches, and follow the Holy Spirit as He guides you to where you need to be.

The family of Virgin Cow faithfully attends and serves at Radiant Life Church, with Pastor Jerry Kennedy. Radiant Life is located at 12022 Mansfield Road, in Keithville, LA (just south of the WalMart on Mansfield Rd). Radiant Life's services are at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings and 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights.

We were members at Word of Life Center, with Pastor Sam Carr, for 22 years, serving in different areas, such as the children's ministry, Young Marrieds group, and the band. We also graduated from the Word of Life School of Ministry. Word of Life is located at 4425 Meriwether Rd, in Shreveport, LA (It's near the airport). Word of Life has 2 Sunday morning services, at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, and also meets on Wednesday at 7:00 PM and Saturday evening at 6:30 PM.
